They are seeking an Engineer of Test / Test Architect to strengthen their Quality Engineering practice and deliver high-impact AI/ML solutions.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Own the overall testing framework and act as the technical subject matter expert (SME) for testing across the organization
- Work across multiple engineering teams rather than being embedded in a single team
- Mature the existing automation framework and establish improved automated testing practices
- Build and scale test infrastructure using Playwright, Docker/containerization, and parallel test execution
- Implement parallel testing / parallel computing to increase automation throughput and reduce test cycle times
- Integrate AI-assisted approaches into the engineering and testing workflow
- Partner with engineering leadership to raise the overall quality bar and testing maturity of the organization
Job Requirements:
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright for test automation
- Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
- Experience with containerization (Docker) and building scalable, containerized test infrastructure
- Proven experience designing and building automated testing frameworks, not just executing test cases
- Experience implementing parallel testing / parallel computing approaches
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development or testing tools and workflows
- Background as an engineer who builds testing systems and frameworks, rather than a traditional QA engineer
- Experience working as a cross-team technical SME / Test Architect is highly preferred
