Job Title: Data Architect (Azure)
Job Type: Contract — 12 months
Salary: €250 per day Job
Location: Sofia, Bulgaria — Hybrid, 2 days per week onsite
The Company: Signify Technology are working with a leading global professional services and consultancy firm with a well-established presence across Europe. They support a large international client base and are scaling up their data and analytics capability, giving this hire genuine ownership over how enterprise data platforms are designed and delivered across the business.
The Role: Data Architect (Azure) You'll design and implement enterprise-grade data solutions built primarily on Microsoft Azure, working across Azure Synapse Analytics, Microsoft Fabric, and Databricks, and translating business requirements into scalable data platforms, warehouses, and lakes.
You will:
Analyse customer requirements and translate them into scalable data architecture and solution designs
Design and build large-scale, high-performing data platforms, warehouses, and lakes
Apply modern data architecture patterns, including Data Vault and Medallion Architecture
Define and implement data governance frameworks, standards, and best practices Work closely with business, technical, and client stakeholders through delivery, including project planning and timelines
Skills/Experience Required:
7+ years designing and building data solutions
Strong experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-based data platforms
Hands-on experience with Azure Synapse Analytics, Microsoft Fabric, and/or Databricks
Strong understanding of Data Warehouse and Data Lake architectures, including Data Vault and Medallion Architecture
Proven experience with relational and non-relational database technologies
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills,
fluent English
Desirable Skills:
Experience with GCP and/or AWS Cloud Architect or Data Architect certification Experience with machine learning or AI-driven data solutions
German language skills
