The company
We're partnering with a leading technology organisation operating across multiple business units, supporting mission-critical platforms used by millions of customers. As the business continues to invest in its technology landscape, they're looking for an experienced Head of IT & Security to lead the strategy, security, and evolution of their hybrid infrastructure.
Role and responsibilities
As Head of IT & Security, you'll own the Group-wide technology strategy across infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity and internal IT. This is a hands-on leadership position, balancing executive decision-making with technical expertise.
You'll be responsible for:
- Defining and delivering the technology and cybersecurity strategy.
- Leading hybrid cloud and on-premise infrastructure, ensuring resilience, scalability and performance.
- Driving cybersecurity, risk management, disaster recovery and business continuity.
- Overseeing networks, workplace technology and internal IT operations.
- Leading major incidents, vendor management and technology investment.
- Building, mentoring and developing a high-performing IT & Security team.
- Partnering with senior business stakeholders to align technology with commercial objectives.
Job requirements
We're looking for someone with:
- Extensive leadership experience across enterprise IT, infrastructure, cloud and cybersecurity.
- Strong architectural knowledge of hybrid environments, networking, identity management and enterprise platforms.
- Experience leading production operations, major incidents, disaster recovery and cyber risk programmes.
- A track record of delivering technology roadmaps, managing budgets and driving strategic transformation.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, automation, observability and modern operational practices.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Fluent English (Greek is highly desirable).
Relevant certifications such as AWS/Azure/GCP, CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001 or ITIL are advantageous but not essential.
