Role and Responsibilities:
- Architect, build, and support SAP Identity Management (IdM) solutions across enterprise environments, covering configuration, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
- Engineer provisioning pipelines, identity lifecycle processes, and account management workflows, tuning them for reliability and performance.
- Manage IdM repositories, identity records, roles, privileges, and associated security controls.
- Build custom extensions and integrations using object-oriented Java and JavaScript.
- Design and implement RESTful and OData-based interfaces, leveraging Apache Olingo where applicable.
- Connect SAP IdM to both SAP and third-party systems, including directories, databases, HR platforms, and other enterprise applications.
- Work hands-on with relational database platforms such as SAP ASE, Oracle, SQL Server, and DB2, writing and tuning SQL queries, stored procedures, and data pipelines that support IdM operations.
- Manage the development toolchain — Eclipse, Git, Maven, and Jenkins for version control, builds, and CI/CD automation.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
- 4-7+ years working in IAM, SAP IdM, identity management, security engineering, or a comparable technical role.
- Demonstrated, hands-on expertise configuring, developing, and administering SAP Identity Management, including workflow design.
- Solid grasp of identity lifecycle processes: provisioning, account management, roles, privileges, authentication, and authorization.
- Proven background in object-oriented Java development.
- Working knowledge of JavaScript alongside broader web/application development concepts.
- Practical experience building REST APIs; OData exposure is a plus.
- Familiarity with Apache Olingo or a similar Java-based OData framework is a strong advantage.
- Solid relational database expertise, with direct experience in at least one of: SAP ASE, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, or IBM DB2.
- Strong SQL capabilities, including query writing, transaction handling, database design, and data integration work.
- Comfort with standard Java/CI-CD tooling: Git, Maven, Eclipse, and Jenkins (or equivalents).
- Awareness of secure coding practices, software security principles, and enterprise access control models.
- Track record delivering in Agile environments (Scrum and/or Kanban).
- Sharp analytical and troubleshooting instincts for resolving complex technical problems.
- Excellent English communication skills, spoken and written.
- Fluency in Bulgarian, with strong client-facing communication ability.
