QA Lead - Greenfield Automation build - Remote - Contract - 6 months Rolling 

Signify have partnered with a billion dollar manufacturing business that spans software, industrial builds and data center manufacturing. 

They are looking for an AI native, QA Lead to build automations frameworks from the group up. 
 

• Build a greenfield quality engineering practice across software and data analytics

• Hands-on player-coach role: own the strategy, select the tools, and embed automated testing into CI/CD

• Put AI at the centre: AI-generated tests, self-healing automation, and AI-assisted defect triage

The stack is open. You could introduce Playwright or Cypress for automation, GitHub Copilot for test generation, and tools such as mabl or Testim for AI-assisted testing. Data quality tooling could include Great Expectations or dbt tests.

Today, testing is largely manual, with Azure DevOps and early UiPath experimentation. They need someone who has built or transformed QA practices and can turn AI ideas into practical improvements.
