Full Stack Developer (React / .NET)
About the Client
Our client is a technology company in the regulatory compliance space, building a software platform that uses AI to help organisations manage their compliance obligations. They're adding a Full Stack Developer to an engineering team that works closely with product and design.
Project / Role Overview
You'll join a cross-functional squad shipping new features across the whole stack of the client's core compliance product. The work covers React front ends, .NET back-end services and the relational databases underneath them, with a strong emphasis on security, reliability and performance.
Responsibilities
- Build responsive web interfaces in React, Redux and TypeScript using modern UI component libraries
- Develop secure, scalable back-end services and APIs in .NET 8 / .NET Core
- Design, build and maintain PostgreSQL and MSSQL schemas
- Consume and integrate RESTful APIs across internal and external services
- Write modular, well-tested code and contribute to peer code reviews
- Document APIs, architecture decisions and implementation details
- Track down and fix bugs, performance bottlenecks and integration issues
Required Skills and Experience
- Commercial full stack experience with React, Redux and TypeScript
- Back-end development in .NET Core / .NET 8
- Relational database design with PostgreSQL and/or MSSQL
- Building and integrating REST APIs
- Solid testing habits and clean, modular coding practices
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams alongside product and design
