Hey, I’m Susan – Manager at Signify Technology currently providing recruitment solutions for innovative Tech companies and Scala houses across Europe, primarily focused on placing Functional Programming Engineers into Contract / Freelance roles!
Joining Signify back in Summer 2017, I was a rookie to the recruitment industry, but since then have gained some invaluable experience, enabling me to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and candidates in the Scala community!
This has allowed me to achieve way more than I could have hoped for during the first few years of my career – from gaining 3 promotions, holding several company records including Signify’s first ever £1 Million Biller, finishing 2ndTop Performer 2019, to finally reaching my number one goal of Signify Technology’s Top Performer in 2020!!
I have also been able to travel the world with my colleagues visiting clients and attending conferences in places such as Spain, Italy, Switzerland, USA, Netherlands and Germany.
All of the above has meant, year on year, I have been able to help more Software Engineers find new projects to take on, teams to join and new career paths than ever before.
When I’m not working though, I enjoy the simple things in life - a good long walk, a captivating book, wine, cheese and a healthy debate – oh and Netflix, ramen, dancing, backgammon, my kittens, trainers, house plants and coffee!
