Senior Full Stack Engineer – San Francisco (Full Time, In-Office)

We’re an early stage, venture backed AI company on a mission to build the most reliable and safety critical large language model systems in the world. Our focus is on real world agentic use cases, complex workflows that require high accuracy, low latency, and strong reasoning capabilities.

The founding team includes repeat founders, AI researchers, and operators from top tier institutions. The company is growing rapidly (0 to 200 headcount range) and offers an opportunity to shape foundational infrastructure and products in the generative AI space.

This role is based full time in our San Francisco HQ and is in person five days a week.

About the Role

As a Full Stack Engineer, you’ll be a core contributor to the product engineering team responsible for both customer facing and internal SaaS tools. You’ll work across the entire stack (front end, back end, API, and mobile layers) to deliver performant and secure experiences, partnering closely with researchers, product managers, and designers.

This team owns a suite of applications and services used to interface with our LLM and agent platforms. You’ll be solving high ownership technical challenges in a fast paced environment that values safety, velocity, and product quality.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain full stack SaaS systems using TypeScript (React), Python (Flask), and Material UI

• Build RESTful APIs and scalable back end systems (Python, Node, or Ruby)

• Collaborate with mobile engineers using React Native and Flutter

• Translate product requirements into performant and secure applications

• Conduct peer code reviews and promote engineering best practices

• Stay up to date with emerging web, mobile, and cloud technologies

• Contribute to agile sprint planning, retrospectives, and product scoping

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building full stack web applications

• Strong proficiency with React and TypeScript, and at least one back end language (Python preferred)

• Experience building APIs and working with SQL or Postgres databases

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Comfortable in fast moving, high ambiguity environments

• Bonus: Experience with mobile frameworks like React Native or Flutter, or infrastructure tools like Terraform
