Job title: Senior Data Engineer
Job type: Permanent (FTE, not B2B)
Salary: Up to €75,000

Role and responsibilities:

Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and technical solutions aligned to business needs.

Ensure reliable access to data from multiple sources.

Develop tools and processes to analyse data, uncover trends, and support decision-making.

Produce clear reports used by global and local teams.

Lead and promote automated data quality and testing practices.

Work within Agile teams and contribute to continuous improvement.
Job requirements:
- 7+ years’ experience working with complex data sets.
- Strong analytical skills, including working with unstructured data.
- Experienced within architecture
- Has prior experience mentoring more junior engineers (don't need to have been a lead/manager).
- Strong experience with Python
- Advanced SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
- Essential experience: SQL, Airflow and/or dbt.
- Beneficial experience: Terraform, Airflow.
- Familiarity with tools such as Lambda, Flyway, pgTAP, PostgreSQL is a plus.
- Excellent English communication skills.
