Title: Senior Backend Engineer - Node.js
Location: Athens, Greece
Salary: €65-75k
I'm looking to recruit a Lead Software Engineer with Node.js expertise to join an innovative software house at the forefront of transforming the live entertainment landscape. They have created a pioneering B2C app and B2B app redefining how people connect, socialise, and share moments within the vibrant world of live entertainment.
As the Lead Software Engineer, your role will include:
- Develop and maintain backend systems and APIs, and establish a monitoring environment from scratch using the latest tools.
- Writing clean, maintainable code adhering to best practices and standards. Conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality software.
- Enhancing the performance, scalability, and security of backend systems by diagnosing, resolving issues, and debugging.
- Taking ownership of backend CI/CD pipelines, automating processes such as schema migrations, and monitoring services.
Skills required:
- At least 4 years of commercial experience working with Node.js.
- The ability to write high-quality code using TypeScript/JavaScript.
- Experience experience with RESTful APIs and third-party service integrations.
- Proven use of Ansible, Terraform, and AWS, as well as monitoring metrics tools like Grafana.
