Scala Developer
Perm - Dublin (1-2 days a week)
Salary: Up to €90,000 + bonus

Having partnered with a new and exciting cutting-edge fintech company dedicated to revolutionising the way financial services are delivered. They are on a mission to create innovative solutions that empower individuals and businesses to manage their finances more efficiently and securely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust and efficient software solutions.
• Develop and maintain Scala-based applications that handle complex financial transactions.
• Optimize existing codebase for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and debug software issues as they arise.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate best practices into development processes.

Qualifications:

• Strong hands-on experience with Scala, Cats, and Akka.
• Proven track record of writing clean code and promoting best practices.
• Excellent leadership and coaching skills, with a passion for team development.
• A positive and adaptable attitude suited for the challenges and opportunities of a startup environment.
• An innovative mindset with a creative approach to problem-solving.
• Exceptional communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
