Role: Scala Developer
Location: Portugal (fully remote)

Salary up to €38,000 + €5k bonus

Signify Technology has partnered with an exciting Fintech company whose financial platform has transformed how individuals, companies and financial institutions best handle their assets. The platform has served $176 Billion + worth of client assets across global markets.

They are looking for a Scala Developer to join their Portugal based teams working on key elements of the client’s platform. You will be working alongside a senior member of the team on an exciting project helping to drive new initiatives, develop new features and enhance current features.

The tech stack used is open-source technologies Scala, Akka, Postgres and cloud technologies AWS. Experience with Java or Kotlin is welcomed if your motivated to learn Scala.

Requirements

• Experience working with Scala and/or Java, Kotlin.
• Experience with Akka.
• Experience building APIs
• Knowledge or willing to learn about financial products and markets
• Excellent communication skills
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
