Role: Junior Scala Developer
Location: Portugal (fully remote)
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: €35,000 - €40,000 + €7k bonus
Signify Technology has partnered with an exciting Fintech company whose financial platform has transformed how individuals, companies and financial institutions best handle their assets. The platform has served $130 Billion + worth of client assets across global markets.
They are looking for a Junior Scala Developer to join their Portugal based teams working on key elements of the client’s platform. You will be working alongside a senior member of the team on an exciting project helping to drive new initiatives, develop new features and enhance current features.
The tech stack used is open-source technologies Scala, Akka, Postgres and cloud technologies AWS. Experience with Java is welcomed if your motivated to learn Scala.
Requirements
- Experience working with Scala and/or Java
- Experience with Akka
- Experience building APIs
- Knowledge or willing to learn about financial products and markets
- Excellent communication skills
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
