Job Title: Head of Field Engineering / Head of Customer Success
Salary: $250K - 280K + Bonus + Equity
Location: Hybrid, One day onsite in San Francisco, CA

A well-funded startup in the AI and machine learning space is hiring a Head of Customer Success. This company builds cutting-edge GenAI tools that empower Machine Learning Engineers. They are trusted by multiple Fortune 500 clients and fast-growing tech companies. In this role, you will lead both the Sales Engineering and Customer Success Engineering teams, driving strong technical engagement with enterprise and strategic customers. The ideal candidate has experience leading technical pre-sales and post-sales functions, crafting compelling demos, and building customer enablement programs that drive adoption and retention.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in Sales Engineering, Customer Success Engineering, or Field Engineering leadership roles
  • Strong technical expertise in AI/ML, GenAI, or related enterprise software solutions
  • Proven ability to create technical sales demos and guide teams on selling to technical buyers
  • Experience in designing and executing customer onboarding and enablement programs
  • Ability to lead strategic and enterprise accounts, optimizing customer journeys
  • Strong communication skills, with a focus on aligning technical solutions with business needs
  • Passion for AI, startups, and driving customer success
