Position: Backend Developer

Location: Edinburgh

Signify Technology have partnered with a client who are looking to add Mid-Senior developers who come from a Scala background.

You will be working on greenfield projects and working in the cross functional team.

Unfortunately this opportunity does not offer sponsorship and this is hybrid role in the office 2-3days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient Scala applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design
• Tackle complex engineering challenges in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Contribute to the architecture and design

Requirements:

• 3+ years experience with Scala
• Proven experience in designing and implementing scalable, high-performance systems.
• Knowledge of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and reactive programming.
• Familiarity with modern DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of software engineering best practices and design principles.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related
